I was beside with excitement on reading that Wayne McGregor, resident choreographer of The Royal Ballet, is teaming up with Gareth Pugh and Mark Ronson for his new production in April. Those familiar with McGregor’s work will recognise his distinctive choreography and his love for pushing the boundaries of modern dance.
The last McGregor performance I caught was Entity at Sadler’s Wells in 2008. He had the whole auditorium at the edge of our seats; and the atmosphere can only be described as electric.
Here’s a snippet of Entity.
If it’s anything to go by, then I would expect this April production to be the hottest ticket of the dance season.
